Company Overview Visit centex.com website

Centex Company has its footing in the city of Pontevedra, Spain. The company was founded in 1953 by Manuel Miramontes García-Moreno and Florentina Domínguez Sanpedro. Upon its inception, the company engaged in the manufacture of bricks and roof tiles for residential construction. It was not until later that Centex expanded its operations to include commercial construction projects (such as shopping malls).

Centex specializes in two types of projects: residential housing developments and retail complexes for both national and international clients. Some examples are Vigo's "Pabellón Polideportivo de Balaídos" (sports center), Sevilla's "Plaza de Armas de la Macarena" (shopping mall), and the "Centro Comercial Abba" in La Coruña.
