PPG Industries is an American Fortune 500 company, founded in 1883. PPG, originally known as Pennsylvania Paint Company, was established by a group of entrepreneurs from England and Germany. In its early years, the company specialized in enamel coatings for steel cans and bicycles. Today, PPG has operations across more than 60 countries around the world producing glass and paint products to automotive manufacturing, aerospace technology, home improvement and other industries.
